Our On-Site workshops
Arctic Artefact offers On-Site Reindeer Antler Workshops for groups in Finnish Lapland. Instead of you traveling to our workshops in Äkäslompolo, the host comes to your location with all the materials and equipment needed for the workshop.
The On-Site Workshop is suitable for hotel guests, companies, tour operators and other private groups looking for a unique hands-on activity in Lapland.
How does it work?
1. Tell us the location
The workshop can be arranged at a common area in a hotel, a conference room, accommodation or another suitable indoor location.
2. We bring everything
Arctic Artefact brings table cloths, candles, table lights, reindeer antlers, papers, pens, inks, drill, tools and all the other materials needed for the workshop. If needed, we can also bring tables and seats for up to 16 people.
3. What do you need to provide?
We ask you to provide a space that allows a 45-60 minutes setup time, 2,5-3,5 hours for the workshop and about 30 minutes for clearing away. Tables, seating and 1-2 side tables are preferred.
What will you do?
The most common Reindeer Antler Workshops allows participants to make two pieces from genuine reindeer antler. They can choose either keychains, magnets, pendants or earrings at the beginning of the workshop.
You can also choose to have all those options, but with pre drilled holes for the keyrings, pendants and earrings. Thus no drilling is needed at location. When drilling we can also come with a Dyson vacuum cleaner and clean the two teaspoons of antler dust for you.
You can also choose a simple version, with just magnets or a single magnet per participant so that the length of the workshop shortens closer to one hour.
